Mechanical Design Engineer

Our Requirement:
We are seeking an experience Mechanical Design Engineer with both 2D and 3D design experience

The position will require a competent mechanical engineer with experience within the following fields:

2D & 3D mechanical design software (preferred Autocad 2D & Autocad Inventor)
Machine & support structure design
Plant layout design
Production of manufacture detail drawings
Knowledge of fabrication techniques & processes
Knowledge of pneumatics, industrial valves, motors & gearboxes
Preferred knowledge of materials handling equipment design
Stress loading and steel requirement specification
Machine assembly & installation supervision
Project management

Candidate Responsibilities
This is a varied role covering in-house design, configuration and assembly to on site installation supervision and support works within a variety of manufacturing industries.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the overall mechanical design from initial concept to project completion and will be required to liaise closely with the electrical design department and the customer to provide a fully integrated turn-key solution.

Mechanical Fitter / Welder

Our Requirement:

We are seeking an engineer with knowledge of machine fabrication, assembly and installation.

The position will require a competent person with experience within the following fields:

Fabrication & welding
Machine assembly
Machine installation
Reading of manufacture drawings
Knowledge of fabrication techniques and processes
Good communication & customer liaison skills
Preferred knowledge of pneumatic & electrical control circuitry
Preferred experience within the materials handling machinery sector
Preferred fork lift, scissor lift and mobile tower licence

Candidate Responsibilities
This is a varied role covering in-house light fabrication and machine assembly together with site installation and supervision.

The successful candidate will work closely with the engineering design team and be responsible for in-house fabrication of frameworks and similar machine components together with machine assembly comprising of both out sourced and in-house manufactured components.  Works will also include the site installation of new machinery and modification of existing equipment.
